CA Transparency Act

The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (2012) (the "Act") was designed to encourage manufacturers and larger retailers to provide consumers with information regarding their efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from their supply chains, to educate consumers on how to purchase goods produced by companies that responsibly manage their supply chains, and thereby, to improve the lives of victims of slavery and human trafficking.

CÈBLIN is committed to fair labor practices within our supply chain. CÈBLIN’S direct suppliers have been notified of CÈBLIN’S policy of enforcing and supporting the purpose of the Act and, by accepting a purchase order from CÈBLIN, they certify that they will comply with our vendor guides, which prohibit slavery and human trafficking.

CÈBLIN’S Code of Conduct holds personnel accountable for ensuring compliance and ethical standards in CÈBLIN’S domestic and international business. CÈBLIN also maintains a compliance "hotline" that all personnel are instructed to use in the event that violations of law or policies are suspected and/or detected.

Although CÈBLIN does not currently provide specialized training on slavery and human trafficking to its supply chain staff, we require that all supply chain staff comply with our policies, including our Code of Conduct, which prohibits slavery and human trafficking within our supply chain.

At this time CÈBLIN does not conduct independent, unannounced inspections of third-party facilities in its supply chain. However, for scheduled visits to manufacturing facilities within the supply chain for CÈBLIN owned brands, CÈBLIN now routinely includes unannounced agenda items dealing directly with human slavery detection and prevention.

CÈBLIN remains committed to serving its customers in a way that helps, not hurts the people and communities involved in its business. We welcome your input on this important issue.
